Mine Yoshizaki’s comedic creation Keroro Gunsou, otherwise known as Sgt. Frog, is celebrating fifteen funny years with an unexpected companion – Nagai Yakuhin, a famous pharmaceutical company. What do these two unlikely lads have in common?
Well, one of Nagai Yakuhin’s many products is called “Kerorin Oke”. It’s a yellow yuoke, or bowl used in public baths for hot water. And it just so happens that this year marks Kerorin Oke’s 15th year. If you haven’t noticed yet, the similarity between Keroro and Kerorin gave Kadokawa and Nagai Yakuhin the brilliant idea to collaborate on the “Okerororin Project”.
