It may have been delayed from its original release fall release to early winter, but Tiger and Bunny: The Rising is showing fans the wait is worth it.
The previous trailer for the second Tiger and Bunny film gave fans a history lesson on Stern Bild City. That seems to be tying into the new hero’s story as he is interspersed in the trailer with pictures of Stern Bild’s angel statues. Add that to his hero suit and the plot further thickens. As you may have noticed in the trailer, Kotetsu is surprisingly absent save for a glimpse of him walking in the end with his new character design. That’s because he won’t be partnering up with Bunny for this movie. Instead it will be Golden Ryan, aka Ryan Goldsmith, the new winged hero. He will be voiced by Yuichi Nakamura of Macross F and Oreimo fame, so fans should expect a great new character that meshes into the new storyline.
The preorder goods for tickets are also aimed at fans of the original series. Allowing for countless cosplay possibilities, HERO TV ID badges are being given out with, in the example below: Apollon Media’s Ryan and Barnaby.
Tiger and Bunny The ising will be hitting theaters in Japan on February 8, 2014, just in time for a Valentine’s Day date.
