Earlier this year on June 26, popular Vocaloid Gumi celebrated her 4th birthday in front of her adoring fans and she absolutely did not disappoint. Japanese anime merchandise retailer Animate’s official website lets us in with a peek at her concert.
The event was held in Shinagawa’s J-Square and like many other concert events, featured several Gumi merchandise. The birthday celebrant took full advantage of J-Square’s digital and sound capabilities to wow the audience and keep them wanting more. She sang songs like “Mosaic Roll” and “Confession Rehearsal” to the cheer of the crowd as the concert became a success. (For more on Gumi here on SGCafe, click here)
Fellow Vocaloids Kamui Gakupo, Lily and CUL also appeared on stage which excited the audience even more. During the event, the vocaloid also announced her participation in Sega’s Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 3DS rhythm game.
Gumi is the official image character of singing synthesizer application software, Megpoid. She was first introduced in 2009 and her voice is provided by voice actress Megumi Nakajima.
