When Arc System Works’s latest 2D fighting, BlazBlue: Chronophantasma, finally comes home to the PS3 on October 24 in Japan, its release will be accompanied by that of a special ARC 25th Anniversary Arcade Stick that uses full Sanwa Denshi parts and features three interchangeable top panel artwork pieces.

(More stories about Arc System Works on SGCafe here)

The default top panel art that this arcade fightstick comes in – whose design theme was said to be “the pillar we’ve erected thus far, juxtaposed against the light that will lead us to new challenges” – is said to be a representation of the fighting game maker’s 25 years of history.

The pillar (probably referring to the art you see on the left side of the stick) represents the work that Arc System Works has accomplished in building over the past 25 years, and the shining light motif for the stick is represents the vigour with which ASW possesses to tackle on a new generation of fighting games.

It’s a real classy piece of art.

But hey, if you’d rather just have Noel Vermillion on the top panel of the stick, Arc System Works is making sure that you can do that too; the stick comes with a BlazBlue: Chronophantasma top panel art, as well as one themed after Bururaji, BlazBlue’s official Web radio programme.
