Because seeing giant human-like creatures mindlessly devour humanity to the brink of extinction puts everyone in the cuddling mood.
I don’t want to spoil anything for you shameless people who’ve yet to get your weekly dose of Attack on Titan, but let’s just say that, after episode fourteen, Eren needs all the hugs he can get. Of course, not from Levi (unless you’re into that kind of thing), who happens to be the other featured character for MOVIC’s second hugging pillow. With his deadpan stare, I feel his coolness knows no end. Easily my favorite character so far, although I still have a soft spot for Armin.
(Check out more on Attack on Titan from SGCafe here).
The polyester suede pillow covers are each 9,450 yen and will ship starting September 19. MOVIC also emphasizes that these designs are only samples, and original cover art will be drawn for each cover. And if the nerd within still isn’t satisfied, then MOVIC’s next item will really get you excited. I am a bit embarrassed to say, but just yesterday someone told me they want Attack on Titan‘s 3D Maneuver Gear. Well, here you are.
MOVIC’s 14 and a half centimeter metal paper blades with the 3D holsters can be yours for 3,675 yen. Also shipping this fall, you can complete the look with COSPA’s Attack on Titan clothing. Earlier this summer, COSPA already showed off their short and long Survey Corps jackets that run for 14,800 yen and 15,800 yen respectively.
Now, COSPA is adding T-shirts and mugs to the frenzy. Pre-sales begin this summer, so perhaps you will be able to watch the finale of Shingeki no Kyojin while wearing your Survey Corps jacket, T-shirt, and essential 3D Maneuver Gear. Not that I’d ever do that. Right. The T-Shirts are 3,045 yen, the mug is 840 yen, and the hats go for 3,885 yen each.
