WonFes is now finally under way and of course, one of the biggest hobby events of the year has indeed offered up some awesome figures and merchandise.
Now, Good Smile Company (which has been teasing us with their figure goodies even before WonFes has even started) has set-up shop with the Good Smile Cafe and they are offering up some scrumptious and Titanic meals based on the hit anime, Shingeki no Kyojin or Attack on Titan. Let’s start off with something you would usually see in a Japanese cafe, an OmuRice or Omelette Rice. OmuRice are usually fried rice served with an omelette and topped with ketchup and are a Japanese cafe staple. However, this special COLOSSAL OmuRice really looks like the face that took down Wall Maria. Packets of ketchup are include and you can play around using the ketchup as the blood of people who got eaten by the titan. One you dig in, some juicy meat can be found within the titan’s head, and if you are looking for the omelette, it’s right underneath the rice. This Colossal Titan OmuRice costs 1000 yen and comes with a special Colossal Titan Button by the Good Smile Company.
Do you know who Sasha Braus is? She has been given the nickname “Potato Girl” by the Shingeki no Kyojin fans and the name stuck ever since. It’s because she stole a boiled potato and ate it while their scary drill named Keith was giving them their right of passage. Throughout the series, she has stolen a number of food and was seen eating them, so here’s a dish dedicated to the infamous “Potato Girl”, The Sasha Feast plate! It includes a bread (Which Christa gave her after passing out during training), some meat (which she stole from the officer’s provisions after graduating and before the invasion of Trost), a small bowl of curry and of course, some POTATOES with their skins on. This meal costs 700 yen and comes with a Sasha Braus button.
The menu also contains some cookies printed with your favorite Shingeki no Kyojin characters. This pack contains five cookies, each one printed with a different character. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi and the colossal titan are all included within the cookie pack. The pack costs 500 yen and comes with a Shingeki no Kyojin pin. The Good Smile Cafe ain’t just offering us Shingeki no Kyojin themed food but also this energy drink. This energy drink is perfect for providing some much needed calories as you go through one figure booth to another and costs 200 yen a can. At the back of the can, you can see the Idolm@ster : Cinderella Girls logo. It contains some royal jelly to pump you up big time.
