The Ice Cream clothing line by American singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and fashion designer Pharell Williams of rock, funk, and hip hop band N.E.R.D will be featuring artwork inspired by the hit anime series, Ghost in the Shell, Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig.
The T-shirts from this collaboration will feature either Ghost in the Shell main heroine Motoko Kusanagi eating Ice Cream or an Ice Cream-inspired Tachikoma.
The front of the Motoko T-shirts will feature the logos of ice Cream and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex while the “Motoko eating Ice Cream” image will be printed at the back. The shirts come in two colors namely white and black and comes in S, M and L sizes.
The front of the Tachikoma T-shirts meanwhile feature the Tachikoma looking like a glass of ice cream with cherry on top while the back features the quote “Nonconformist should act like a nonconformist until the end”. There will be three Tachikoma variants namely the pink variant, tghe yellow variant and the blue variant. The shirts come in two colors namely white and black and also comes in S, M and L sizes.
Both Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex designer T-shirts will cost 8,925 yen are scheduled for release mid-March 2014 and are now up for reservations only until December 21, 2013. They are distributed by Japanese fashion website 2PMWORKS and can be ordered via their official website.
