During last night’s Saba Festival or Saba-sai held at Tokyo’s U-Port Hall in Shinagawa, a brand new collaboration between work-related animes Servant X Service and Working!! has been announced.
Several fans who attended the event last night have tweeted the news about the collaboration. Users onegawa_dogeza, kco_t2ti and shinyo2nd tweeted the news which got a lot of anime fans excited.
According to shinyo2nd‘s tweet, no further details have been announced so far so what the collaboration between the two work anime would be is still not known. Who knows? It could be a new collaboration animation or a commercial or even some limited edition products.
The event celebrated the Servant X Service anime with a live stage event, booths which sold Servant X Service merchandise and the appearance of the anime’s voice cast. Tetsuya Kakihara (who voices Jouji Tanaka), Aki Toyosaki (who voices Megumi Shihaya), Tatsuhisa Suzuki (who voices Yutaka Hasebe), Mai Nakahara (who voices Saya Miyoshi), Rumi Ookubo (who voices Toko Ichimiya) and Ai Kayano (who voices Lucy Yamagami) were all present during the event which was held last night, December 8, 2013.
Servant X Service is an anime about the daily lives of staff of the health and welfare section of the ward office of a certain city while Working!! is about the crew of the family restaurant Wagnaria and both focus on the (often funny) incidents which usually happen at work. Both series are produced by Aniplex and A-1 pictures so a collaboration between the two has been expected by some fans.
Whatever the collaboration may be, expect a whole lot of good customer service by the time it rolls around
