It has recently been announced that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will be released some time this Fall 2014 and Namco Bandai has released new information on the game’s newest features from Mecha Naruto to the four Edo Kages and its Shinobi Fighting Festival mode.
We have previously revealed that upcoming Naruto fighting game, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, will be featuring a brand new game-exclusive original character designed by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, Mecha Naruto. Now, it has recently been revealed that just like the original one, Mecha Naruto can not only transform into “Mecha Kurama” but also make use of a whole arsenal of weapons to pound opponents into submission. It can use weapons from missiles to even a Rocket Punch.
With over 100 playable characters, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will also be featuring the highly anticipated Edo-Kages whose PV videos we have previously featured. The Third Raikage will be using his extreme speed and durability to go through opponents like a tank while The Fourth Kazekage will keep opponents at bay with his gold sand. The Second Tsuchikage will prove to be a deadly opponent with his particle jutsus while the Second Mizukage will be using Genjutsu to confuse and destroy enemies (plus that shell totally looks dangerous).
The game will also feature a 1-player mode known as the Great Shinobi Fighting Festival. It will be a tournement for Shinobis to prove who really is the best shinobi in the world. It features a four-person free-for-all melee where the player takes on three opponents who are also fighting each other. Characters must also collect “Festival Balls” to earn points and must win the fight within a certain time limit.
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will be out on PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime in Fall 2014.
