Good Smile Racing & Team Ukyo is really revved up for the new Super GT season from the unveiling of their lovable virtual race queen, Racing Miku 2014, to the release of her latest nendoroid. Now, one of their major sponsors, Banpresto has recently held an event in front of the Akihabara UDX called Racing Miku 2014: Start Your Engines.
They showed off the new Good Smile Racing & Team Ukyo BMW Z4 GT3 which features Racing Miku 2014 right at the car’s hood. People not only got a good look at the new race car, but also take pictures of it, along with two of Good Smile Racing’s other race queens.
The new car showed off its various sponsors from figure makers like Good Smile Company, Freeing, Gift and Max Factory to the traditional racing sponsors like Petronas, Yokohama and Enkei and even events like Animelo.
The event also featured some of Banpresto’s Racing Miku 2014 products which includes their Racing Miku 2014 deluxe clear poster, several Racing Miku 2014 badges, bath towels, glasses and key rings. These products can be won as prizes from their Crane King crane game.
Several shops and arcades in Akihabara even joined in on the event as they advertised Racing Miku 2014.
