Capcom is celebrating 10 years of their ground-breaking and revolutionary video game series, Monster Hunter, and Osaka-based pastry shop Poire is joining in the celebrations with some very special Monster Hunter chocolates.
Poire has previously collaborated with the game on a number of occasions and offering up sweet Monster Hunter goodies since 2009. Now, they will be celebrating the franchise’s 10th anniversary using a super rare type of cocoa that only make up 0.06% of the world’s total cocoa production.
Each box contains ten chocolates, with each piece sporting a unique design taken from the various monsters featured in the series as well as the Monster Hunter 10th Anniversary logo. The chocolates will come in a “scale leather” box to truly give off that unique Monster Hunter feel.
Poire will only be making 1,000 boxes of these chocolates and each box is worth 3,000 yen (plus tax). Reservations for these rare chocolates will start tomorrow, April 23, 2014 from 12:00 noon (Japan time) and will be shipped from May 7-31, 2014.
