Yodobashi store asks: Love Live! or iDOLM@STER?

It is one of the biggest questions in the anime world right now and it rings through many people who follow both series, Love Live! or iDOLM@STER?

Otakus and idol fans all over the planet must certainly have their heads ache trying to answer such a difficult question as both series really have their strong points.

The 765 Pro idols (top) who represent iDOLM@STER offer a lot more depth and variety in terms of the members from the mature Azusa to the playful twins Ami and Mami, from serious song bird in Chihaya to the klutzy Haruka. The μ’s which represent Love Live! on the other hand wins on the cuteness factor and are often considered the most cohesive unit even if they have diverse personalities from the half-Russian dancer in Eri to idol fans Hanayo and Nico, from the air headed center Honoka to the serious composer in Maki.

However, a Yodobashi shop in Kuriyama, Fukushima has asked fans that exact question. They got a chance to vote by placing stickers below the images of their chosen idol. Red is for Love Live! while blue is for iDOLM@STER, and from the results…

Looks like it’s a landslide with Nico, Maki, Kotori and Rin getting a ton of votes. On the iDOLM@STER side however, it looks like Haruka is the most popular with 4, which is a far cry fro, Maki, Kotori and Nico’s votes.

As an iDOLM@STER fan, I would personally really want to go to Fukushima and place as many blue stickers under Chihaya as possible. I would even call-in some back-up and have one of the most infamous iDOLM@STER fans in Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada place all his votes for his “waifu”, Iori.
