Original Dead or Alive final boss, Raidou, returns for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round as a playable character

When Dead or Alive was first released for arcades and the Sega Saturn back in 1996, the fighters were terrorized by its final boss Raidou. Fortunately, he was defeated by the first DOA winner, Kasumi.

But if you thought that he will stay dead after being killed off by the end of the original game, then we have some bad news for you as he will be making a comeback in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round… as a cyborg. The announcement will be officially made by the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu Magazine.

Veteran voice actor Tetsu Inaba will be reprising his role as the villainous master of Tenshin Ninjutsu (Tenjinmon) and may bring some cybernetic additions in his original play style as a playable character. Here he is from the original 1996 game.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be DOA5’s last installment and it will be released for the PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox One and 360 for North America starting February 17, 2015.
