To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the anime adaptation of K-On!!, Korg is treating fans and music lovers to a special keytar inspired by Houkago Tea Time’s resident keyboardist, Tsumugi “Mugi” Kotobuki.
This limited edition K-On 5th Anniversary Keytar uses Korg’s original RK-100, whose successor, the RK-100S, was featured being played by Mugi herself in the anime’s first season. The back panel will even feature Mugi herself and will come with a special pink Houkago Tea Time keyboard bag, which totally fits the air-headed rich girl’s image.
The Keytar will include 20 original songs which include Don’t Say Lazy, Cagayake! Girls, Go! Go! Maniac, and Mugi’s own character song, yasei no Jounetsu.
Only 300 of these limited edition Tsumugi Kotobuki Keytars will be made and they will be released late December 2014. Each Keytar has a price tag of 65,000 yen.
