Agriculture anime No-rin! has experienced a lot of success during their Winter 2014 run which has garnered the series a whole lot of fans. Now, the hit anime has decided to give back to the community as they have teamed up with the Japanese Red Cross Society to urge people to donate some blood in Gifu Prefecture where the anime is based on.
Those who will donate blood as part of the campaign will not only be helping save lives but will also get some No-rin bookmarks and posters which is pretty neat. The campaign will take place in three different areas in Gifu, namely the Shin Gifu Blood Donation Room, Akanabe and Tajimi Station.
The blood donation campaign will be implemented from April 9 until June 30, 2014. The Gifu Red Cross is looking for donors from their teens to their 20s and are looking to extract 200mL worth of blood which is really a small price to pay to get this cute poster.
This ain’t the first time Gifu’s red cross has done something like this with an anime series. They have also teamed up with Hyouka to get people to donate blood.
Animate Akihabara is also celebrating the anime’s successful run by giving fans a special treat- The No-rin mini museum.
The Nou-rin female school uniform, several artworks, screenshots and merchandise were all featured in the mini-museum… including Becky-sensei’s infamous episode 1 scene and her AKB-40 t-shirt. Oh Becky-sensei…
The series has even taken over Animate Akihabara’s elevator.
