Digimon is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, and as a new official website and an event have been created to celebrate that milestone, Bandai joins in on the celebrations with the release of two replica digivices.
Bandai is replicating these limited edition digivices just for the 15th anniversary and from the looks of things, they will be releasing Taichi “Tai” Kamiya’s orange digivice for courage and Yamato “Matt” Ishida’s blue digivice for friendship.
How these new digivices, which are officially called “Digimon Adventure Digivice 15 Anniversary Ver.”, exactly will look may not have been revealed as of the moment, but Premium Bandai will be making more announcements about them on July 19, 2014. They are scheduled for release August 2014 and will cost 9,900 yen each. I wonder if they will come with their own virtual pet with Taichi’s being Agumon and Yamato’s being Gabumon?
