During the end of the 12th and final episode of trading card game anime Selector Infected Wixoss, it was announced that the anime will indeed have a continuation and it will be called Selector Spread Wixoss.
Just before the announcement, the screen showed the Selector Infected Wixoss. The word “Infected” then transformed into “Spread” and announced that the anime will continue this Fall 2014 season
The anime is based on the Takara Tomy Trading Card Game Wixoss and is considered the “Madoka Magica of TCG anime” as it has a darker theme than most trading card game anime series like Vanguard and Yu-Gi-Oh!. It is also known for giving its characters Madoka Magic-like fates which are a bit darker and more twisted than your usual anime endings.
