Rurouni Kenshin‘s live action sequels will finally be hitting movie theaters this summer, and to promote them, Shinjuku Piccadilly has unveiled two new exhibits which will surely make fans even more excited for the movies.
The first exhibit is Kenshin “Hittokiri Battousai” Himura’s signature red kimono and white hakama which was presented along with several posters for both sequel movies, The Great Kyoto Fire and The End of a Legend.
However, the second exhibit was the one which truly stole the show when it was unveiled. Makoto Shishio, the main villain for both sequel movies was presented in all his bandaged glory, sitting in a red sofa. While touching Shishio is extremely prohibited, fans can take a seat right beside him and take pictures. The exhibits will be displayed in Shinjuku Piccadilly until August 4, 2014.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire) will premiere on August 1, 2014 while Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend) will hit Japanese theaters on September 13, 2014.
