Sega and Hatsune Miku have been making fans smile together at arcades and at home for 5 years now. To celebrate that anniversary, the Sega feat Hatsune Miku project is collaborating with Joypolis once again.
Starting June 23 fans of Hatsune Miku and the Project Diva series will be able to experience a celebration like no other at Joypolis. With a special menu, photo frames, mini-concerts and even collaborations on rides Sega and Joypolis are going all out to treat fans.
A mini-concert series called “Hatsune Miku Mini-Live DAIBA de DIVA” and “Project DIVA presents MATSURI DA DIVA” will happen everyday, with one song performed during certain time blocks. At noon and again at 4 PM you can catch ryo’s ODDS & ENDS being peformed. At 2 PM and 6 PM you can catch livetune’s popular Tell Your World and at 9 PM is a special secret live. All of this will be done on a special stage set up just for the show in Joypolis.
If attractions are more your speed at amusement parks, you’ll be happy to hear Miku booming over the speakers as you ride Veil of Dark, a coaster that shoots you around the park at high speed. Accompanying your journey will be Miku singing cosmo (BusouP)’s Sadistic.Music∞Factory.
The Tokyo Halfpipe ride will also feature a set of music to bring riders closer to the singers of Project DIVA, not just Miku. Songs include Age-Age-Again (Mitchie M), Electric Angel (Yasuo), Kochimuite Baby (ryo), StargazeR (KotsubanP), Double Lariat (Agoaniki), DECORATOR (livetune), Tengaku (Yuuyu), Fire◎Flower (halyosy), a special edition of PoPiPo (ramuuzP), Rolling Girl (wowaka) and of course I’ll Make You Miku Miku’d (I Made It!) by ika_mo.
After all that fun your tummy will probably catch a case of the rumbles and send you after the special Miku themed goodies featured on this collaboration menu.
You can get a Chilli Shrimp bowl with the seaweed flakes designed as a blue 5 for the fifth anniversary for 1350 yen.
Or Bacon Wraped Hotdogs with some Miku colored onions on top for 1000 yen.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with 5th anniversary pancake set for 1200 yen.
For 750 yen net yourself this tasty Miku themed parfait.
There’s even a special set of glasses the drinks are being served in.
All of the drinks will also be served on these collaboration coasters, so you get a souvenir with your meal as well.
To remember all the fun you had at the event, the photobooths on the first and third floor will be offering a special frame lined with Miku.
The chance to see what the future holds is also available with these Miku fortune tellers.
The collaboration will run until July 2, and is most likely going to be packed to the brim with Miku fans of all ages.
If you could would you head over to Joypolis for the 5th anniversary party?
