With some of the Spring 2015 anime already concluding, it is now time once again for the season to change and introduce new anime. And as the new Summer 2015 season is about to begin right around the corner, we now take a look at SIX returning anime which some fans are certainly missing after a period of absence.
Take note that these are our picks for RETURNING anime, which means they have other versions shown before and fans are already familiar with, or are new seasons to anime that some fans are already know about. We will release our picks for the NEW anime tomorrow.
We have debated on which anime we should be featuring in our list, and without further ado, here they are:
To Love-Ru Darkness 2nd
Rito, Lala, Momo, Yami, Mea, and all your favorite To Love-Ru characters are back and they certainly promise to heat up your summer viewing even further with even more alien battle action, and of course, all those echhi hi-jinx that To Love-Ru is known for. It is certain that this one would be NOT SAFE FOR WORK!
Dragon Ball Super
It’s DRAGON BALL, nuf said
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!
After all the intensity of Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV), Fate fans deserve a much more lighthearted break, right? This third Fate/ Illya anime will begin where the second one left off and will feature the much-awaited “Beach Episode” where Illya and Kuro celebrate their birthdays!
Durarara!! X2 Ten
After leaving fans hanging at the end of Durarara!!X2, Durarara!! X2 Ten promises to continue where it left off, with a whole lot more trouble brewing for Ikebukuro, with the Dollars, Celty, Shizuo, Izaya, and the rest of the city being caught up in it
The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls Part 2
Ever wondered what happened to the girls of the Cinderella Project after their first big concert? Like the others in the list, this one continues where the first part left off, which is right after their first big concert event. So how much did the girls grow as idols? I guess we are about to find out soon
Ushio and Tora
To those wondering why we put Ushio and Tora in our list of returning anime people should watch out for and not in our new anime list, this is because back in 1992, Toho Animation released a 10-episode OVA, which was released until February 1993. This means that while the new 2015 anime would be a completely new take on Kazuhiro Fujita’s classic 90’s supernatural manga, it has already been animated before therefore not making it a new series.
Ushio and Tora promises a whole lot of action, just like its 90’s predecessor, and that is the reason why we think people should watch this series
