In Japan, voice actors, or seiyuus, are pretty much considered pop stars, and they even release their own songs, some of which are part of the soundtrack for the anime they are voicing a character for.
For this week’s Charapedia poll, the Japanese anime character database has asked 10,000 anime fans, 53.7% female and 46.3% male, which seiyuu is the best singer out there. The rankings are divided into male and female seiyuu rankings, with the male results being released on a later date. Here are the Top 20 females”:

Fans think Nana Mizuki is the best singer among the seiyuus?! Who could have seen that one coming?! With chart-topping singles and collaborations and singing the theme songs for anime she is not even voicing a character for, Nana Mizuki is currently one of the most on-demand seiyuus today, and her victory comes at absolutely no surprise at all!
#2 ranked Saori Hayami meanwhile ain’t any slouch either as she has voiced many AniSongs as well, and we all know what Love Live! seiyuu Yoshino Nanjou, as well as the versatile Kana Hanazawa can do on stage as singers.
