Life-size Attack on Titan 3D Maneuver Gear replicas now being sold by 7-Eleven

Last month, convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, has launched a new Attack on Titan campaign which involved life-size statues of Eren Yeager and Levi, and now, they are launching a new Attack on Titan product, and here’s a hint, it’s also life-size

Scheduled for release in mid to late July 2015, these Attack on Titan replica props are now available for pre-orders via 7-Eleven Japan’s official website and are being sold for a whopping 107,784 yen. Unlike MOVIC’s own 3D Maneuver Gear replica, this one is a lot lighter as it is made of ABS resin, aluminum, and silicone and weighs in at only 8.2Kg, as compared to MOVIC’s which weighs in at a little over 10Kg.

7-Eleven has stressed that this is only a replica and does not work like the actual 3D Maneuver Gears featured in the Attack on Titan anime and manga as they cannot launch you to buildings nor are the blades sharp enough to cut through the nape of a titan’s neck. These however, are perfect for any collection to display or just simply used as a cosplay prop.
