Move over μ’s, because there are new school idols in town! With voting now officially done, the official website to the Love Live! follow-up project, Love Live! Sunshine, has announced that the School Idol group will be named Aqours
The name Aquors won by majority vote during an official election held by Dengeki G’s Magazine to determine the group’s official name.
Aquors is actually is a combination of Aqua (as they come from a seaside town) and Ours. A total of 23,789 votes were cast and the name Aquours was chosen as it got a total of 4,644 votes. The group will also release their debut single this October 7, 2015.
