Kuroko Tetsuya and Sket Dance members join the J-Stars Victory VS rumble

We’ve already seen ace attorney Phoenix Wright take on the likes of Ryu, Hulk, Thor and Galactus in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 while we will be seeing otaku-model-little sister Kirino fight the likes of Shana, Asuna, Shizuo and Mikoto Misaka in Dengeki Fighting Climax, now, a magazine scan from Weekly Shounen Jump! has confirmed that another unlikely entrant will be joining a fighting game filled with extremely powerful characters.


Enter Seirin High School basketball star, Kuroko Tetsuya. The high school basketball cager will enter the Shounen Jump! 45th anniversary “team battle” fighting game, J-Stars Victory VS, as a support character and he will be using his misdirection skills as a ball handler to confuse the likes of Son Goku, Ichigo, Luffy, Naruto and Kenshin Himura.

Also joining the brawl will be the three Sket Dan members Bossun, Himeko and Switch. The three high school students are support characters with “Onihime” (Demon Princess) Himeko providing meelee support, Bossun providing ranged support with his patented sling shot and Switch providing tactical support with his notebook computer.


These four unlikely combatants will be fighting the likes of Dragon Ball’s Son Goku and Vegeta, Naruto’s Naruto and Sasuke, One Piece’s Luffy and Boa Hancock, Toriko’s Toriko and Zebra, Medaka Box’s Medaka Kawakami, Rorouni Kenshin’s Kenshin Himura and many more.


J-Stars is scheduled for release March 19, 2014 for the PS3 and the PS Vita. The PS3 regular costs 7,980 yen, the limited ed. PS 3 game will cost 10,980 yen, the regular Vita game will cost 6,980 yen while the limited ed. Vita game will cos 9,980 yen.
