When One Piece reached its 300,000,000 manga units sold milestone, Shueisha announced that One Piece will be releasing newspaper print ads in local publications in 47 Japanese prefectures.
Each prefecture featured a different print ad each ad featured that certain prefecture’s specialty or attraction. The campaign kicked off last November 1, 2013 in Hokkaido and Aomori and continued until yesterday, November 20, 2013.
Here are some of their ads:

Each of the 47 prefectures were beautifully represented and each feature a One Piece character or two drawn by One Piece author Eiichiro Oda himself. These ads would certainly promote a whole lot of tourism given the over-all popularity of One Piece.
