As excitement builds up for the upcoming live action movie adaptation of the widely popular light novel series Haganai or Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, new screenshots from the movie have recently been released and they are sure to tease a whole lot of fans.
The newly released screen shots include several scenes which can be typically found in the anime like their usual gathering around the Neighbors Clubroom table doing their usual thing which is Rika reading a manga, Kodaka reading a light novel, Maria eating potato chips, Kobato playing with her stuffed toy and Yozora hitting Sena with a fly swatter.
The other screenshots include the typical Yozora-Sena confrontation, Sena acting like a queen and the gang trying out one of Rika’s prototype inventions.
It has also been announced that hot newcomers Kerakera will be performing the movie’s theme song titled “Hitotsu Dake” (ひとつだけ). The three-person group made their debut earlier this year and is responsible for the hit song “Star Loveration” which was used as the theme song for the J-Drama “Last Cinderella”.
The live action movie stars Koji Seto (Kodaka), Kie Kitano (Yozora), Mio Otani (Sena), Sara Takatsuki (Yukimura) and Mao Kanjou (Rika) as well as child actresses Sayu Kubota as Kobato and Momoka Yamada as Maria. The movie will hit Japanese theaters on February 1, 2014.
