Itagasas are the umbrella equivalent of itashas, itaindous, and itacharis and have become mainstays in the Japanese otaku subculture. Now, Itagasa Hanbai is offering up some new umbrellas featuring some of the characters from popular anime series like Girls und Panzer, Super Sonico and Kantai Collection.
The Girls und Panzer folding umbrellas come in two different designs and can be pre-ordered via the Itagasa Hanbai online shop. The White 55cm folding umbrella and the Navy Blue 58cm long umbrella cost 8,000 yen each and both itagashas are scheduled for release by the end of June 2014.
Super Sonico meanwhile will also be having new itagashas which can also be pre-ordered via the Itagasa Hanbai online shop.The 60cm Super Sonico plastic umbrella costs 1,500 yen and is a great compact umbrella you can keep in your bag just in case there is a sudden downpour. The 58cm First Cosmic Velocity long umbrella meanwhile costs 8,000 yen. Both umbrellas are also scheduled for release by the end of June 2014.
You can also keep yourself dry with Kantai Collections Kongou sisters who will also be having their own Itagasa. The 60cm Kongou Sisters light umbrella is scheduled for release mid-July 2014 and costs 3.500 yen. You can have it pre-ordered via the Itagasa Hanbai online shop
Itagasa Hanbai has also released anime umbrellas from other series like K-On! and OreImo.
