Some of the biggest names in the Japanese figure industry have gotten together once again and this time, it was for the Spring edition of the Miyazawa Model Exhibition.
According to Good Smile Company‘s Kaho-tan, “The Miyazawa Model Exhibition is a industry-only event organized by Miyazawa Models that takes place twice a year”. Only figure makers, figure bloggers, wholesalers and retailers are allowed to join and this is an event where figure companies get to announce some of their latest figures. The last Miyazawa Model exhibition was held last November 2013 and showcased some of the upcoming figures at that time.
Let’s start things off with Good Smile Company who showcased their upcoming Grey Fullbuster figure from Fairy Tail as well as nendoroids for Iona/ I-401 (Arpeggio of the Blue Steel), Kitakami and Kaga (Kantai Collection), 1/7 scale Saber Extra (or Red Saber), and the 1/8 scale figure of Love Live!’s Honoka.
Max Factory meanwhile showcased their 1/8 scale Kongou (Half Damage Ver.) and I-58 (Half Damage Ver.) from Kantai Collection as well as their upcoming Avengers figmas and figma Chariot from Black Rock Shooter. Also seen is the figma Saber 2.0 and figma Archer from Fate/ Stay Night and the figma Flyboy Zombie
Phat Company meanwhile showed off some of their latest upcoming figures which are highlighted by their iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls offerings. Also spotted is a figure of Kill la Kill’s Satsuki
Gift, Freeing, Penguin Parade, Wave, Takara Tomy, Union Creative, Pulc, Azone and Vertex also presented their upcoming figures
