The official youtube channel for Toho Animation has started streaming the first PV for upcoming romance anime Ao Haru Ride, which is the anime adaptation of Io Sakisaka’s bestselling shoujo manga of the same name which has sold over 4.7 million copies.
The anime which is scheduled to air July 2014 as part of the Summer 2014 anime season revolves around a girl named Futaba (CV: Maaya Uchida) who is in love with her friend and classmate, Kou (CV: Yuki Kaji) during middle school. However, after a misunderstanding, Kou suddenly transfers schools. Now that she is in high school, Futaba suddenly meets Kou again…
