Monthly manga magazine Dengeki Daioh is celebrating its 20th anniversary and during its 20th Anniversary museum over at Gamers Akihabara, fans got a chance to vote on who is the magazine’s most popular heroine. The limited-time museum was concluded last June 8, 2014 and here are the results:
She may be hated by many anime fans but it looks like Strike the Blood’s Yukina Himeragi is one of the poll’s most most popular characters. Yes, you can hear it now, “No Senpai, this is our poll”.
Also raking in a lot of votes is A Certain Scientific Accelerator’s cute loli main heroine Last Order as well as Hataraku Maou-sama!’s Emilia. Also popular are Strawberry Marshmallow’s Miu, Toradora’s Taiga Aisaka, Nagi no Asukara’s Manaka and A Certain Scientific Railgun’s Misaka Mikoto. Looks like the clone Last Order was able to beat her original Misaka.
But it seems like fans were a bit upset as one popular Dengeki Daioh heroine was not even included in the poll. Can you guess who it is?
If you guessed Yotsuba from Yotsuba&, then you are absolutely correct! The cute heroine may be out shined by Danbo in terms of popularity in her own manga but she is still one of the magazine’s most well-known heroines. I wonder why she wasn’t even included?
