Mizuki Nana, one of Japan’s most prolific voice actresses and Anisong artistes will be holding her first ever solo live concert in Singapore on September 27 this year, Singapore branch of Japanese entertainment company Amuse Inc announced today.
The Singapore concert will be held at the Resorts World Theatre in Sentosa on the evening of September 27, 2014 — doors open at 5:30PM, and the show will start at 6:30PM. Ticketing information for the live show will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the Singapore solo live in September, two shows in Taiwan will also be taking place on October 4 and 5.
Together, the Singapore and Taiwan solo live concerts will form the “Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014+”, which is an extension to the “Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014″ summer live tour in Japan.
The Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014 nationwide tour kicked off today at the Fuji Q Highlands and will eventually see the accomplished artiste perform in a total of 14 locations in Japan, from now till August.
At the Fuji Q Highlands concert, Mizuki Nana was said to have announced very excitedly to her fans the additional Singapore and Taiwan.
Although a highly-sought-after voice actress and recording artiste — who has appeared multiple times on Japan’s most-watched musical programme on TV, the NHK Kouhaku Utagassen (Red & White Year-end Song Festival) — Mizuki Nana only started making overseas concert appearances last year.
Her first ever overseas appearance was in Singapore, as part of Anime Festival Asia 2013′s “I Love Anisong” series of concerts.

Nana Mizuki made her debut as a voice actress in 1997 and gained popularity through her voice acting roles in popular anime series such as “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha”, “HeartCatch PreCure!” and “NARUTO”.
She made her debut as a singer with single「Omoi」in 2000.
Her album 「ULTIMATE DIAMOND」released in June 2009 was ranked no. 1 on the Oricon weekly album charts. She also made her first appearance in the “NHK kouhaku uta gassen” in December on the same year and performed on the show for 5 consecutive years thereafter.
Her single 「PHANTOM MINDS」released in January 2010 topped the Oricon weekly single charts. She held a 2 days concert at the Tokyo Dome and attracted 80,000 audiences.
In 2013, Nana held her first overseas live in Taiwan and it was broadcasted live on Live Viewing throughout several countries in Asia.
In March 2014, she was awarded the “Rookie of the Year” Award at the 64th Annual MEXT Art Encouragement Prizes. Her 10th Album 「SUPERNAL LIBERTY」released in the same year reached no. 1 again on the Oricon weekly album charts.
Her LIVE Blu-ray&DVD「NANA MIZUKI LIVE CIRCUS×CIRCUS＋×WINTER FESTA will be released in 28th May and her summer nationwide tour 「NANA MIZUKI LIVE FLIGHT 2014」will kick start from 1st of June.
