The best male and female anime characters to put in "The Strongest Football Team" according to Charapedia

It’s 2014 which means that it’s World Cup year and as the entire world sets their eyes on Brazil for one of the largest and most anticipated sporting events in the world, Japanese anime website Charapedia has asked its readers which anime characters do they think would form the “Strongest Football Team”.

They divided it to a Men’s Team and a Women’s Team with each position being filled by a specific anime character. They even have the position for Football manager! So who made it to the teams? Here they are:

Men’s Team:

FORWARDS

Daiki Aomine (Kuroko’s Basketball)

Accelerator (A Certain series)

Levi (Attack on Titan)

MIDFIELDERS

Tobio Kageyama (Haikyuu)

Kuroko Tetsuya (Kuroko’s Basketball)

Tatsuya Shiba (The Irregular At Magic High School)

Looks like Charapedia’s “Strongest Men’s Team” isn’t very surprising with majority of the players being from Sports anime and very few are from the more battle-oriented shounen and seinen anime. The biggest surprise may be for the position of Goal Keeper which went to Touma. Well, let’s just say that if somebody would use esper and magical powers to the ball, he can stop it with Imagine Breaker. The forward positions seem to be quite packed with Aomine, Accelerator and Levi on the team. Let’s just say unless Touma or somebody stronger is the goal keeper, there is no way Accelerator’s shot can be stopped. Midfielders can also confuse a lot of opponents with Kuroko Tetsuya and Gintoki on the team… I wonder what sort of craziness Gin will do? Oh, and expect Levi’s kick to be faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabulous!

Women’s Team:

The Women’s Team seems to be a bit stronger than the Men’s Team in terms of raw power, don’t you guys think? Let’s just say with a GOD barking out orders as the manager and another GOD (Madoka) playing midfield, this football team is a bit too overpowered, don’t you think? Add to that some women with supernatural strength like Mikasa Ackerman, Morgianna, Kagura and Yukiho (Yes, Yukiho), power-wise, this is one scary team. And if that doesn’t scare you, you may get electrocuted by one tsundere esper girl playing midfield or get frozen by a genius magician who is a bit overly attached to her brother.
