When attacking a titan, every soldier trying to defend humanity knows exactly where to attack, and that is on the nape of the neck. During a press conference for the box office success of the first live-action Attack on Titan movie, the act of slaying a titan was demonstrated… with a cake!
Actress Satomi Ishihara, who plays Hanji Zoe in the live-action versions, wielded two of the blades normally used to slay titans, and wielded them to “attack” a poor and defenseless Colossal Titan cake, awwwwwww. Well, in the image, she does look a bit worried about cutting the cake…
While the movie has gotten mixed reviews back in Japan and abroad, the movie was still a big box office hit and is doing well on sales, enough so that they held a special press conference featuring the stars and staff of the movie. That event featured a cake, which was of course sliced up the way you would normally slice up a titan.
The first part is already showing not only in Japan, but also in Singapore, the Philippines, and other parts of Asia. They also had a very successful Hollywood premiere, which was held in the legendary Egyptian theater in Los Angeles. The second part, Attack on Titan: End of the World, will be making its premiere on September 19 in Japan.
