After disappointing many fans by only being a support character in the original Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax fighting game, The Irregular at Magic High School have plenty to celebrate as the anime’s overpowered main character finally becomes playable in the game’s sequel, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition.
Originally, Tatsuya was released as a support character, but with Ignition, Tatsuya can be both a support and a playable character and bring his overpoweredness to the battlefield. In addition, his sister, Miyuki, will also be available as both support and main playable character. Now, if we can only get Maou Sadao from The Devil is a Part-timer to be playable too…
Aside from the new characters, this sequel game will feature a better balance between the characters as French Bread and Ecole will be tweaking the game while also adding a few new features, which were not available in the original release. Though the original game was eventually released for home consoles as well as getting an English localization, no word yet whether this sequel game will also be getting that home console treatment.
