Love it or hate it, Sword Art Online is still one of the most popular anime today, and a new limited-time SAO exhibition is currently being held in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City, and it is called Sword Art Online: THE SEED.
The exhibition is highlighted by life-size models of the anime/ light novels’ two main characters, Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki, who are both presented in their Aincrad avatars.
Also featured is a recreation of Kirito’s room where he made his “link start” on Sword Art Online and got trapped in that game of death.
Titania Asuna’s bird cage was also recreated just for the exhibition, and fans can get their pictures taken inside as though they were also imprisoned by Oberon.
Some of the weapons used in the later arcs have also been exhibited, and they include some pistols from GGO, Sinon’s Hecate II sniper rifle, and the Excalibur.
Sword Art Online artworks, screenshots, figures, and other exhibits are also featured.
The Sword Art Online: The SEED exhibition kicked off last August 13 in Ikebukuro and will have its final day tomorrow, August 16.
