Pokemon fans rejoice, because the Pokemon fighting game, Pokken Tournament, will finally be having its long-awaited console release scheduled for the spring of next year. The game, developed by both Nintedo and Bandai Namco, will be released for the Wii U, and here’s a new trailer for the console release!
Pokken will officially be released to Japanese arcades this July 15, 2015 and is developed in a partnership between Bandai Namco and Nintendo, with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada helping develop the game.
Pikachu, Machamp, Lucario, Gardevoir, Suicune, Gengar, Charizard, Weavile, and Blaziken have already been confirmed in the game along with several support Pokemon. While no exact release date has been announced, this spring 2016 release period will not only be for Japan, but the rest of the world as it will be released globally during that time period.
