One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda is one very high profile mangaka, so when he visited the Kanda Myoujin Shrine in Akihabara, considered the holy land for the idol anime, Love Live! School Idol Project, he sort of ended up doing an unexpected collaboration with the series.
According to the legendary mangaka, he visited the shrine like most people, yet somehow ended up doing a collaboration. Looks like he’s become a Love Liver himself!
Kanda Myoujin Shrine is where Love Live!’s Nozomi Tojo works as a shrine maiden, and has been known to distribute Love Live! prayer boards (emas) and charms featuring Nozomi herself.
So what ever happened during his visit? I guess we will find out as soon as the collaboration becomes official.
