In the wonderful place known as the internet, sometimes, you do not know who is really a guy and who is really a girl, and that is what caused the protagonist of ‘Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko ja nai to Omotta?‘ to swear that he should never trust girls online, and that very light novel series gets itself its own anime adaptation!
The anime adaptation was announced by Dengeki Online, and more details will be announced during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2015 this October 4. The Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko ja nai to Omotta? light novel is written by Shiba Kineko and illustrated by Hisasi. It is published by Dengeko Bunko and was launched back in 2013.
The light novels follow Hideki Nishimura, an online gamer who falls in love with someone he thought was a girl (actually a boy). He then swore that he should never trusts girls online ever again… until he gets an online confession from a beautiful girl named Ako Tamaki, who does not seem to know the difference between online and IRL.
