After years of waiting, it seems like Capcom has finally listened to its fans as they are giving them what they want, which is a Resident Evil 2 remake of course!
The Capcom R&D Division 1’s Yoshiaki Hirabyashi a.k.a. H, recently released a new video message to fans, and yes, it’s the message they all wanted to hear.
Wearing a shirt which says “We do it!”, the producer said “It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have pushed the project to get approved. The team here at Capcom Japan really appreciates fans’ passion and support and will do our best to bring fans what they really want.”
He also added that it will be while before their next update, so fans better be patient!
Capcom previously asked fans on how they felt about a Resident Evil 2 remake after the success of their Resident Evil 0 HD release, and needless to say, it was a success.
