There are anime we like to keep watching because of the good story or beautiful animation, however, there are also anime series that people have dropped after episode 1 for various reasons. These reasons may include the fact that the viewer finds the anime boring, he does not like the anime, or he/she just hates the genre.
Japanese anime website, Ani-Me, has asked its readers which anime did they drop or cut-off from their viewing list after seeing the premiere episode, or episode 1. They only revealed their Top 10, however, the results are somewhat surprising.
10) Aoharu x Kikanjuu
9) GOD EATER
8) Snow White with the Red Hair
7) Million Doll
6) Actually, I Am
5) Monster Musume
4) Aquarion Logos
3) Junjou Romantica season 3
2) The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls part 2
1) Makura no Danshi
Makura no Danshi is an anime about “pillow boys” who “sleep beside you and whisper”, and as it seems, it really is not for everyone as people have dropped it at episode 1 alone, and that’s a lot of people, enough to gain the top spot.
However, the biggest surprise in the list is at #2, The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls part 2. It seems that many fans did not like the heavier tone of this new season, which is enough for many to drop it. Other surprises include Snow White with the Red Hair and GOD EATER, which are both currently getting much critical praise so far. Another one which can be considered a “surprise” is Monster Musume, however, it seems that not everyone is into that Monster Girl fetish, and let’s not forget that not everyone is into ecchi as well.
And it really does seem that many have been disappointed with Aquarion Logos so far, so much that many have also dropped the anime on episode 1 alone.
