Ahhhh, anime hair. They make it look like the laws of gravity just don’t exist, or that anime characters must have really really good hair stylists. This week’s Charapedia poll focuses on all the wild hair, and they let 10,000 fans choose which ones they think is the most shocking.
This week’s 10,000-voter poll featured 58.4% male and 45.2% female voters. Only the Top 20 out of 57 characters were ranked, and they are:

We don’t usually announce the winner of a poll in the title, but for a series infamous for its shocking take on hair-styles (in fact, the series is synonymous with weird hair), the only person who would probably take the top spot would be a guy with hair so improbable, he makes Son Goku’s hair seem like it might be seen in real life as an everyday thing. I mean, sure, Goku has a plethora of hairstyles and colors thanks to his various super saiyan transformations, but his hair only comes at one color at a time. Yugi’s hair has three colors all the time, and still looks wilder.
While some anime characters with more realistic hairstyles like Masato, Levi, Kotori, and heck, even Saitama, managed to make it to the list, a certain somebody with a legendary pompadour was not even able to make it to the top 10… Sorry Ryu!
By the way, I think Ran Mouri won’t even be considered in the list if not for that spike on top of her head… just saying.
