One of 2016’s most anticipated anime is without a doubt, My Hero Academia, and the character designs for the aspiring superhero (who doesn’t have any powers), Izuku Midoriya, and the legendary hero, All Might, have been posted online.

Yoshiko Umakoshi, the character designer for Heartcatch Precure, was responsible for these character designs. He impressed the original mangaka, Kouhei Horikoshi, has even said that he thinks Umakoshi’s take on his characters are a bit better than his.
The animation studio responsible for animating Soul Eater and Full Metal Alchemist, BONES, will be the ones animating this new Shounen Jump! project which is based on Kouhei Horikoshi’s critically acclaimed and bestselling super hero manga.
The My Hero Academia manga follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy who lives in a world filled with superpowered beings and dreams of being a hero, however, there is one problem, he has no powers at all!
