Controversial Yuri/ Ecchi franchise, Valkyrie Drive, gets a "realistic" life-size doll made by adult doll makers

After raising some eyebrows when it was first announced and raised even more eyebrows after its anime series, Valkyrie Drive Mermaid, made its premiere, the controversial yuri and ecchi multimedia franchise, Valkyrie Drive, shows no signs of slowing down. And with a new PS Vita game called Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni hitting Japanese gaming stores in December, a life-size doll of one of the game’s two main heroines, Rinka Kagurazaka, has been made!

No, that’s not a 3D rendition, and that certainly is no cosplayer, but that really is a life-size doll of Rinka. The doll is made by adult doll sculptors, Orient Industry, and her face is designed by cosmetic artists from JIRO. The doll can also be linked to smartphones via an app, which lets her talk and even move or breathe.

Called the LINK A DOLL as a play on her name, the this life-size doll will be traveling to various anime and gaming stores across Japan to promote the release of Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni. Those who pre-order the game also receive a special gift, which is a clear file folder. The game is scheduled for release on December 10, 2015 for the PS Vita. The anime part of the multimedia franchise, Valkyrie Drive Mermaid, is currently being aired in Japan.
