Some of Japan’s biggest and most popular virtual idols are teaming up for a special projection mapping event, as the virtual diva, Hatsune Miku, teams up with the idols from Bandai Namco’s idol arcade game, Aikatsu! for the “Aikatsu! LIVE ☆ Illusion – 3 Big Teams! Dream Match” event as a special guest.
“Aikatsu! LIVE ☆ Illusion – 3 Big Teams! Dream Match” is a special event which uses video and projection mapping to show the audience a live Aikatsu! show, but with Miku as a special guest, this one will be more special than usual!
A unique arcade game card known as the “Dreamy Crown dress” will also be given away to those attending the event, which will first hit Osaka’s Dojima River Forum from January 9 – 10, 2016 before heading tom Tokyo’s Hikarie Hall from February 20 – 21, 2016. Each venue will be running five shows per day.
