Pokken Tournament is introducing a powerful new boss, and it’s a new form for the legendary Psychic Pokemon, Mewtwo unique to the game. Previously dubbed by Japanese fans as “Dark Mewtwo”, its official name has finally been revealed, along with a new video preview. Ladies and gentlemen, here is “Shadow Mewtwo”.
The video also introduces us to Pikachu Libre, the masked Lucha Libre-wrestling-style Pikachu doing some mean wrestling moves which was introduced earlier. The video then ends with the arrival of Shadow Mewtwo.
Now that’s one scary fighting game boss! Already released in Japanese arcades, Pokken Tournament will finally be getting its own home console version of the Nintendo Wii U in Spring 2016. This will be a worldwide release and will not only be for Japan.
