The giant Martian cockroaches (who can also fly) from Kenichi Tachibana and Yuu Sasuga’s bestselling science fiction thriller manga, Terraformars, are getting their own live-action movie, and issue #49 of Weekly Young Jump! magazine has revealed new details.
According to the scan, the movie will be making its premiere on April 29, 2015, and announced that issue #50 will be having a special and “important announcement.” They also revealed that next week’s chapter will open with a special color page and confirmed that the series now has over 14 million copies in circulation.
The movie boasts some major Japanese star power as it also stars the likes of Shun Oguri, Rila Fukushima, Rinko Kikuchi, and many more. It will is scheduled to finish filming by February next year and will follow the manga’s BUGS-2 arc.
