[VIDEO] Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun officially announced for Nintendo 3DS

During a Pokemon Direct live streaming presentation, Nintendo has confirmed the rumors which have recently been circling the internet: They are making a brand new Pokemon game, which will have the titles, Pokemon Moon, and Pokemon Sun.

According to the announcement, the game is slated to hit the market late 2016, and will be available for Nintendo’s 3DS platform, just like the previous Pokemon X and Pokemon Y generation. Hmmmm… when I hear those titles, I often think of the Sun Stone and the Moon Stone, as well as Lunatone and Solrock. Will those items and Pokemon play some part in these games?

This new game is part of the Pokemon franchise’s 20th anniversary celebrations, and will officially be the seventh generation in a 20-year franchise, which revolutionized the gaming world back in 1996. Nintendo has also confirmed that the game will be available in nine different languages, namely English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and both traditional and simplified Chinese.

The Top 20 most Narcissistic characters in Anime, according to Charapedia

Like in real life, there are characters in anime that are too full of themselves, and really love themselves too much. For this week’s Charapedia character poll, the Japanese anime character database has asked which anime characters are the ones who they find the most narcissistic and has the biggest EGO.

With 10,000 votes (male: 36.9%, female: 63.1%), Charapedia presented a total of 68 characters, however, only the Top 20 were revealed, and they are:

20 – Mikoto Mikoshiba (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun)

19 – Yuu Otosaka (Charlotte)

18 – Kai Nijuuri / Twenty (Milky Holmes)

17 – Tamaki Suoh (Ouran High Host Club)

16 – Yuda (Fist of the North Star)

15 – Hosaka (Minami-ke)

14 – Sachiko Koshimizu (The iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls)

13 – Shinji Matou (Fate)

12 – Shuu Tsukiyama (Tokyo Ghoul)

11 – Suzuki (Yu Yu Hakusho)

10 – Takiyashamaru Tairan (Nintama Rantaro)

9 – Ryota Kise (Kuroko’s Basketball)

8 – Cavendish (One Piece)

7 – Kanie Seiya (Amagi Brilliant Park)

6 – Jinpachi Toudou (Yowamushi Pedal)

5 – Suneo Honekawa (Doraemon)

3 – Kazuhiko Hanawa (Chibi Maruko-chan)

2 – Keigo Atobe (Prince of Tennis)

Atobe_keigo_profile

1 – Karamatsu Matsuno

tumblr_o1ovrerlN61uammz4o1_1280

Yes, Kanie Seiya is just like his namesake and real-life counterpart, Kanye West, as both of them really love themselves and both have huge egos the size of an entire continent, and yes, Takiyashamaru Tairan has been called the “ultimate narcissist,” however, the one who took the top spot in this poll is the Matsuno brother who really thinks he is the best thing that has ever happened to the world, Karamatsu, who may even give Narcissus himself a run for his money.

Given the large number of female voters  (63.1%), as guys tend to be more narcissistic than women apparently, it is also apparent that a lot of anime with a large female fanbase like Mr. Osomatsu, Haikyuu!, and Prince of Tennis , have placed high in these rankings. And it seems that the belief that guys are more narcissistic is evident here in this list, as 19 of the 20 characters voted into the Top 20 are guys! The rose among the thorns is iDOLM@STER’s Sachiko Koshimizu, who can actually give the guys in this list a run for their money about being too full of themselves.

Live-Action Assassination Classroom"s second film to also feature manga"s ending

Looks like it’s not just the anime adaptation of Yusei Matsui’s Assassination Classroom manga which will be able to catch up to the manga’s ending, as a press conference for the second Assassination Classroom live-action movie has confirmed that the second film will be able to catch up to the manga as well.

145062085932123000179

The second live-action film is titled Assassination Classroom: Graduation, and is slated to premiere in Japan on March 25, 2016. According to Yusei Matsui himself, the film was timed with the ending of the manga, and all of this was thanks to a proposal that both the film and the manga will share the exact same ending.

i_ansatsu2

The manga’s ending coincides with Japan’s graduation season, which is usually being done in March. The same issue of Shounen Jump is also announcing that they are starting a “Graduation Countdown” for the manga, and will also feature an illustration by Yusei Matsui, which comments on the manga’s ending.

Previously, issue #11 of Weekly Shounen Jump! Magazine announced that the series is headed to the “conclusion of the fated battle.” So, will Class E finally assassinate Koro-sensei and save the Earth? I guess we will find out in March.

[Video] God Eater anime"s Meteor Light Arc gets previewed in new video

After months of waiting, we are finally getting new footage from the unaired episodes of the God Eater anime, which will be called the Meteor Light Arc. The new footage also gives us a taste of what to expect, and will offer a look into the childhood of the anime’s main protagonist, Lenka.

On March 5, 2016, Episodes 10 – 13 will finally be aired via Tokyo MX, and they will follow the Meteor Light arc. The anime abruptly ended last September on episode 9, and definitely left many fans hanging. Its entire anime run for the Summer 2015 season was plagued with delays, as even the anime’s very first episode was met with a setback.

ge

But despite all the delays, there are still fans who praised ufotable, the studio responsible for animating God Eater. Many have said that they would rather see ufotable’s usual excellent quality in an anime that is delayed, rather than see poor quality animation on an episode that has been rushed.

Previously, it was announced that the anime’s final four episodes, Episode 10: “Sange”, Episode 11: “Meteor Light”, Episode 12: “Dai-Ichi Butai”, and Episode 13: “Renge”, will be “coming this winter.”

[VIDEO] Man attends Donald Trump rally in Sailor Moon costume, gets escorted out

The ever-so-controversial real-estate mogul, Donald Trump is running for president of the United States of America, and so far, he has attracted a lot of followers and protesters alike with all those controversial comments he has made. During a political campaign rally in Atlanta however, he attracted one unexpected guest.

Wearing a cosplay outfit from Naoko Takeuchi’s Sailor Moon franchise, the man, who people have identified as twitter user, @bootymath, chanted USA!, even after the crowd has stopped chanting, and created quite a commotion. However, it was still unclear whether this Sailor Moon cosplayer is a Trump supporter or a protester.

However, his cheering was interrupted when a few security guards approached him and escorted him out. What a bunch of party-poopers.

Can’t a guy just cosplay Sailor Moon and chant “USA!” in peace? Sailor Moon’s real name is Usagi, Usagi starts with U.S.A., coincidence? I think not, right?
