One Punch Man ain’t mangaka, ONE’s only work that’s gotten the anime treatment, as his Mob Psycho 100 manga is also getting an anime adaptation, and Warner Brothers has started streaming its very first PV! Check it out:
The video announces that the anime will be premiering this year, and reveals the anime adaptation’s staff, which is lead by Yuzuru Tachikawa (Death Parade). The animation will be produced by BONES, while main character, Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, whill be voiced by Setsuo Itou, and Arataka Reigen will be voiced by Takahiro Sakurai.
The manga follows “Mob,” a boy with psychic abilities who will explode once his emotional capacity reaches 100%. The story is about a boy who keeps his emotions bottled up inside or else everything goes wrong… which you know, kinda sounds like the Hulk from Marvel, only in this one, instead of turning into a green and unstoppable monster when angry, he just simply explodes and takes a whole lot of destruction with him.
