Fans vote for the Top 10 Female Anime Characters they want to marry

It’s that season once again, and yes folks, love is in the air because it’s already mid-February! And with V-Day just a couple of days away, Japanese anime character database, Charapedia, has taken a love-filled theme for this week’s poll, as they asked 10,000 anime fans (60.2% male, 39.2% female) which FEMALE anime character is the one they want to marry. Here are the Top 10:

10 – Haruka Minami (Minami-ke!)

9 – Nagisa Furukawa (CLANNAD)

8 – Eru Chitanda (Hyouka)

7 – Yukina Himeragi (Strike the Blood)

6 – Hinata Hyuuga (Naruto)

5 – Yukino Yukinoshita (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU)

4 – Tsubasa Hanekawa (Monogatari)

3 –  Asuna Yuuki (Sword Art Online)

2 – Ui Hirasawa (K-On!)

1 – Kosaki Onodera (Nisekoi)

While many of of the ones mentioned in the list have the motherly or wife-like trait of being a good cook, like Yukino, Asuna, and Haruka, this lists #1 is a surprisingly awful cook. Let’s just say you wouldn’t want to go home to this wife’s meals after a long hard day’s work. However, Onodera’s charm and innocence has landed her at the very top spot in the list, beating out favorites like Asuna and Hinata.
