With the premiere for the upcoming Wixoss movie, Selector Destructed Wixoss, making its premiere tomorrow, Warner Brothers Anime’s official YouTube channel has started streaming the film’s very first eight minutes, and yes, from the looks of things, it promises to be quite dark, just like the first two TV anime.
Animated by J.C. Staff, Selector Destructed WIXOSS is slated to premiere on February 13 in Japan, and will once again follow Ruuko and Tama as they journey through the world of the trading card game, Wixoss.
Introduced last April 2014 and already having an English version, the Wixoss trading card game was launched by Takara Tomy and now has two very successful and critically acclaimed anime series, Selector Infected Wixoss and Selector Spread Wixoss. Both anime series have been quite infamous for being a whole lot darker and edgier than other TCG anime and is considered the “Madoka Magica or Evangelion of TCG anime”.
